# How to Report a Scam

if you come across a user that you believe is engaging in fraudulent or suspicious behavior, reporting them is simple and helps protect the community.

#### Steps to Report a User:

1. **Join Our Discord Server**\
   If you haven't already, join our Discord server by clicking [here](https://discord.com/invite/C92NvXf3Wt).&#x20;
2. **Locate the 'I Found Scam' Channel**\
   Once you're in our Discord server, navigate to the **'I Found Scam'** channel. This is where you can report any suspicious activity or scammers\

3. **Submit the Report**\
   In the **'I Found Scam'** channel, you'll find a quick questionnaire or form to fill out. Be sure to include:

   * **Scammer's Name/Username/Twitter Handle/Discord handle**
   * **Scammer's Wallet Address (if applicable)**
   * **Discord ID(if your have)** *<mark style="background-color:red;">See below How to Get a Discord ID</mark>*&#x20;
   * **Discord/Twitter handle**
   * **A brief description of the scam or suspicious activity**

   The more details you provide, the easier it will be to confirm and take action.
4. **Review and Confirm**\
   Once you submit your report, our team will review the information. We may contact you for further details or confirmation, so stay active in case we need any clarifications.
5. **Be Responsible**\
   Please make sure that your report is legitimate. We rely on the community to report accurately. If the information provided is false or misleading, it may lead to consequences for your account.

#### What Happens After You Report?

* Once your report is submitted, it will be added to our database for review.
* If the scam is confirmed, the user will be added to our blacklist, and we will take the necessary actions to protect the community

#### *<mark style="background-color:red;">How to Get a Discord ID</mark>*

1. **Enable Developer Mode:**
   * Open **Discord** and go to **User Settings** (the gear icon next to your username).
   * Scroll down to **Advanced** in the settings menu.
   * Toggle **Developer Mode** to **ON**.
2. **Copy the Discord ID:**
   * After enabling Developer Mode, right-click on the **user's profile**, **message**, or **server name**.
   * Select **Copy ID** from the options.
3. **Submit the ID:**
   * Once you have the ID, you can paste it in the report form when reporting a user.
