How to Retrieve Your Discord Server ID and User ID

This guide will walk you through the process of retrieving your Discord Server ID and User ID. These IDs are essential for various bot configurations, server management, and troubleshooting.

Enabling Developer Mode

Before you can access IDs, you need to enable Developer Mode in Discord.

  1. Open Discord and go to User Settings (gear icon at the bottom left).

  2. Navigate to Advanced in the left sidebar.

  3. Toggle Developer Mode to ON.

Finding Your Discord Server ID

  1. Open Discord and go to the server you want to get the ID from.

  2. Right-click on the server name in the top left corner.

  3. Click Copy Server ID.

  4. The ID is now copied to your clipboard—paste it where needed.

Finding Your Discord User ID

  1. Open Discord and go to any server or direct message.

  2. Locate your profile (or another user’s profile if needed).

  3. Right-click on the username.

  4. Click Copy User ID.

  5. The ID is now copied to your clipboard.

Finding a Message ID (Optional)

If you need to retrieve a specific message ID:
